Vanguard University is located in the beautiful beach town of Costa Mesa, California. Vanguard is located off Hwy 55, just five miles north of Newport Beach, 10 miles south of Huntington Beach, about 60 minutes south of Los Angeles and 90 minutes north of San Diego.

Your Housing

• You will be living at lovely Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, California. 

Traveling to Costa Mesa

We strongly recommend you bring your own vehicle.

• We will be e-mailing everyone a list of the other students’ email addresses so you can arrange to caravan or carpool if needed. 

If you Fly please fly into John Wayne International Airport (also known as Santa Ana airport).

• If you need to be picked up at the airport please send us your flight number, carrier, date and time of arrival as well as the airport. Please e-mail .

You will be responsible for making all travel arrangements.
